 Welcome in our World of the Akitas!

The Kennel "Lord of Odate's inheritance" or short LofOi, behind this stands Kerstin & Roland Bergmann, which devoting himself with full fervour the American Akita since 1997. Since 2000 their kennel name is under international FCI protection and since 2001 they are members of the Akita Club e.V. in Germany.

LofOi primarily see themselves as show kennel. Their breeding arose almost inevitably to get Akitas for the shows which really correspond to the ideals of their own. So are LofOi's to see regularly in inland and abroad on many dog shows since the official recognition of the breed American Akita by the FCI in the year 2000. On the other hand, their first litter fell 2004 and although their possibilities would be far bigger, only two litters falling down average per annum up to today.

2000 LofOi's supplied the first German Federal Winner and the first American Akita which won a placement in a FCI group competition and 2001 the first American Akita Champion VDH. Since then won or placed up their Akitas on international terrain countless times as Best of Breed and again and again in the Best in Show and Group contest of the main rings, won repeatedly German Federal Winner, Europe Winner and World Winner title or their Vice title and the since 2013 possible to winning title German Winner 3 time in a row. So far their Akitas won a total of 85 Champion title, 65 of these their own bred Akitas.
